HI SIS was founded as an organization to fill in a specific gap to care, electrolysis. (Medical hair removal) HI SIS offers these services at a drastically reduced rate regardless of the number of hours each session is. HI SIS realized that we were only addressing one issue and through the work and stories, we found that there are so many more opportunities to help.  Our work targets people who just need help navigating a system to achieve the goals they set for themselves. We use their expertise and community relationships to help clients get the resources they need to make informed choices and speak up for themselves. Through this, we hope, it will help to eliminate disparities by helping clients navigate a medical system in which their needs are often ignored or neglected.
